Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 24, 2026
1. Agreement and Parties
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and CrumWorld Industries (Private) Limited, a company registered in Pakistan with its registered address at 403-BB, Sector D, Bahria Town, Lahore, Pakistan ("CrumWorld", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing crumworld.com, using any CrumWorld application, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy, both of which form part of the agreement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use CrumWorld, or at least 16 where the law of your country sets a higher age for consenting to online services. If you are using CrumWorld on behalf of a school, business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. What CrumWorld Provides
CrumWorld provides three product lines plus an optional cloud subscription:
- CrumAtlas — an AI assistant available on the web, as a desktop agent that works inside a folder, and as a mobile client that can drive a running desktop session.
- CrumSurf — a minimal browser for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
- CrumStudio — a suite of desktop tools including a code editor, database manager, spreadsheet and BI tool, 3D workspace, document and presentation editor, image editor and video editor.
- CrumWorld Cloud Subscription — the paid subscription layer providing cloud storage, cross-device sync, higher CrumAtlas usage allowances and, on the Max plan, remote session control.
CrumAtlas, CrumSurf and CrumStudio are free to install and use locally. Paid plans are described on our pricing page and add cloud capability only.
One subscription covers every CrumWorld application. A single CrumWorld Cloud Subscription subscription applies across CrumAtlas, CrumSurf and CrumStudio — you do not need a separate plan for each product. One account, one bill, and one set of limits that follows you everywhere.
Guides, tutorials and documentation for learning to use the products are published at www.crumatlas.com.
4. Entry Beta Status
The CrumWorld Cloud Subscription is currently in entry beta. You acknowledge and accept that:
- The service is still under active development and features may change, be renamed, or be removed.
- Usage limits, storage allowances and plan contents may be adjusted as we learn how the service is used.
- You may encounter bugs, downtime, incomplete features or data migration issues.
- We may ask for feedback and may use it to shape the product, without any obligation to compensate you.
We commit to acting in good faith with beta users: we will not quietly reduce what you paid for, and if a plan change affects you, we will give you advance notice and a way to cancel without penalty. If you subscribe during beta, your price is locked for as long as your subscription stays active.
You should maintain your own backups of anything important. Beta or not, no cloud service should be the only copy of your work.
5. Your Account
Accounts are created by signing in with a supported identity provider (Google, GitHub or Microsoft). You are responsible for: keeping control of the identity provider account you sign in with; the accuracy of the information associated with your account; and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@crumworld.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
One person may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits, and accounts may not be shared between unrelated individuals. Max plan customers may share within the limits described at purchase.
6. Plans, Billing and Renewal
Paid subscriptions are not available yet. The CrumWorld Cloud Subscription is currently free for everyone while we complete the setup of our billing and payment systems. The plans, prices and billing terms in this section describe what will apply once paid subscriptions open. We will announce the opening of payments on crumworld.com before any charge is made, and no one will be billed without clear prior notice.
- Free plan — $0 per month. No payment method required. Subject to the usage caps shown at sign-up.
- Starter plan — $2.00 USD for the first month, then $5.00 USD per month thereafter, billed monthly in advance.
- Pro plan — $12.00 USD per month for the first three months, then $15.00 USD per month thereafter, billed monthly in advance.
- Max plan — $35.00 USD for the first month, then $50.00 USD per month thereafter, billed monthly in advance.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in US dollars, on the calendar day you first subscribed. Each subscription renews automatically every month and continues to renew until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us, through our payment processor, to charge your selected payment method each month at the then-current price for your plan.
Payments are processed by a payment gateway — a third-party service that handles card and wallet payments on our behalf. Your payment details are collected by that payment gateway and are not stored by us. The price displayed at checkout is the total price you pay. Whatever the question — a failed charge, a wrong amount, a receipt you need — email support@crumworld.com and we will handle it with them on your behalf.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend paid features until payment succeeds. We will notify you before suspending.
We may change prices in the future. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, the change will take effect at your next renewal, and you may cancel before it applies. Price increases never apply retroactively, and beta subscribers keep their locked price as described in section 4.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard, or by emailing support@crumworld.com. Cancellation stops all future charges. Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you already paid for, after which the account reverts to the Free plan. We do not charge any cancellation fee and we do not prorate or refund unused time on cancellation, except as described below.
New subscribers receive a 14-day money-back guarantee on their first payment. Request a refund within 14 days of being charged and we will refund you in full. After that window, renewal payments are non-refundable, though we may still refund a partially unused period at our discretion where a fault was ours.
Full details, including how to request a refund and how long refunds take, are set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer right you have under the law of your country, including any statutory cooling-off period.
8. Taxes
Prices are exclusive of sales tax, VAT, GST and similar charges unless stated otherwise. Applicable tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing location and is collected and remitted by our payment gateway.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, or help anyone else break the law, using the service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to CrumWorld systems, other users' accounts or data, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, including through denial-of-service attacks, excessive automated requests, scraping, or credential stuffing.
- Upload, store or distribute malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that exploits or harms minors.
- Infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property right.
- Circumvent plan limits, usage quotas, or access controls, including by creating multiple accounts or reselling access without permission.
- Impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your relationship with CrumWorld.
- Use the service to build or train a competing product, or to reverse engineer it beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section. Serious breaches may be reported to law enforcement.
10. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
CrumAtlas generates output using AI models. You understand that:
- Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or outdated, and may occasionally appear plausible but be wrong.
- Output is not professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or engineering decisions without independent verification by a qualified person.
- You are responsible for reviewing and testing any code or content generated before using it, and for ensuring it does not infringe third-party rights.
- Similar or identical output may be produced for other users; we do not guarantee uniqueness.
Subject to these Terms and to applicable law, you own the output you generate and may use it for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.
11. Your Content
You retain all ownership rights in the files, projects, documents and other content you upload or create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, display and process Your Content solely to operate the service — for example, to sync it to your devices, to back it up, and to feed it to CrumAtlas when you ask CrumAtlas to work on it. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, except for copies retained in routine backups for a limited period.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
12. Our Intellectual Property
CrumWorld and its licensors own all rights, title and interest in the service, including its software, design, branding, logos, documentation and underlying technology. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own purposes during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from the service except as expressly permitted by law.
The CrumWorld name, mango mark and product names are trademarks of CrumWorld Industries (Private) Limited.
13. Third-Party Services
The service integrates with third parties including Google Firebase, Google, GitHub and Microsoft identity services, our payment gateway, Cloudflare and Netlify for infrastructure, and AI model providers. Your use of any third-party service through CrumWorld is also governed by that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their failure or change does not make us liable to you.
14. Availability, Changes and Support
We work to keep the service available and to back up your data, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, and modify or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces the functionality you paid for, we will give you advance notice and, if you are on a paid plan, a pro-rata refund of the affected period on request. Free plan users may see features change or limits adjust with notice where reasonably possible.
Support is provided by email at support@crumworld.com. Pro plan customers receive a response within 48 hours and Max plan customers within 24 hours on business days.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. CrumWorld disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. This does not affect any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrumWorld will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50 if you are on the Free plan. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrumWorld, its officers, directors and employees from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.
18. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using CrumWorld and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use poses a security or legal risk, if required by law, or if a subscription remains unpaid after notice. On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will make Your Content available for export for 30 days where reasonably practicable before deletion, except where termination was for a serious breach or legal requirement.
Sections 11, 12, 15, 16, 17 and 22 survive termination.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product and law evolve. We will post the revised version with an updated "Last Updated" date. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or prominent in-product notice. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, or immediately for Free plan users. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
20. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: we collect the minimum needed to run the service, we do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not train AI models on your private content.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Lahore, Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the service, except that nothing here prevents you from bringing a claim in your country of residence where consumer law gives you that right, or prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information in any competent court.
Before filing a claim, please contact support@crumworld.com so we can try to resolve the matter. Most issues are resolved faster this way.
22. General
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and CrumWorld regarding the service.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a reorganisation or sale, provided your rights are preserved.
- Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
